Sarah Zhang

Sarah Zhang is a Research Fellow (Computational Science) at the RegLab at Stanford Law School, focusing on NLP for law. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics. Sarah has previously helped conduct literature reviews in a project looking into the concept of ancestry in interpreting genetic associations with traits at the Petrie Flom Center at Harvard Law, and has worked on coding summary judgment cases in a project focusing on issues affecting access to the civil justice system at Berkeley Law. She is interested in using empirical legal research to better understand how computational tools may improve accessibility and efficiency within the legal system.
