Ryan Hess is an Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University. He earned his PhD in accounting at the University of Texas at Austin and completed a postdoctoral fellow position at Stanford University in 2022 . His research interests center on taxation, targeted government incentives, and public policy. He previously worked as a tax consultant in Deloitte’s tax services department and as a bank auditor for the FDIC. Ryan’s research with RegLab involves examining tax networks to identify methods to improve tax compliance.
