Qiwei Lin is a Research Fellow (Computational Science) at the Regulation, Evaluation, and Governance Lab (RegLab) at Stanford Law School. His research interests include causal inference and machine learning, particularly as they apply to high-impact public health problems. He received his M.S. in Computational Analysis and Public Policy with Honors from the University of Chicago in June 2022. Prior to that, he worked as a research consultant at the World Bank for Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) and Social Sustainability and Inclusion (SSI), where he applied spatial data science methods to support field teams in geocoding in India and constructing vulnerability index in Ukraine. He received a B.S. with Distinction from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in Statistics and Political Science (with a minor in Economics) in 2020.
