Peggy Xu is a second-year student at Stanford Law School, where she focuses on the intersection of emerging technologies and racial justice. At Stanford, she works as a research assistant for the Global Digital Policy Incubator, serves as the Co-President of the Stanford Law and Technology Association, and was selected as a Technology and Racial Equity Graduate Fellow with the CCSRE. She previously interned with the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) in Washington, DC, and wrote extensively about technology, automation, and the future of work as a speechwriter at West Wing Writers prior to law school. Her research with the RegLab centers on the design of—and the legal authority behind—third-party algorithmic audits.
