Olivia Hope Martin

Olivia Martin is a JD candidate at Stanford Law School and a PhD Student in Economics at Stanford University. Her research focuses on public finance and behavioral economics. Prior to graduate school, she worked as the research manager at USAFacts.org, leading efforts to advocate for improved publication of data by the government, as well as a grant manager for Ballmer Group philanthropy, where she managed a portfolio of grants striving to improve talent pipelines in state and local government. She received her B.A. in Economics from Stanford University. Olivia’s research with the RegLab includes evaluating mechanisms of staffing federal agencies and the use of responsible automation to deliver government services.
