Neel Guha is JD/PhD candidate in Computer Science at Stanford, and a Graduate Student Fellow at the Reglab. On the computer science side, his work spans building and evaluating AI systems for legal applications and other complex reasoning tasks. On the law side, his research interests including developing machine learning-based empirical legal tools (primarily for substantive questions in civil procedure), and governance questions around AI (drawing on torts and regulatory policy). He received a BS with Honors in Computer Science from Stanford in 2018, and a MS in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University in 2019.
