Joyce is a data scientist at the RegLab, where she is currently working on a project related to performance measurement in government.

Prior to joining RegLab, she worked as a data scientist with the Vera Institute of Justice, where she helped to collect and analyze data related to mass incarceration in America, and at the Bill Lane Center at Stanford, looking at police reforms in suburban California. She previously worked as a policy analyst with the federal government of Malaysia and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Joyce holds a BA in political science from Yale University and an MA in education and an MA in public policy, both from Stanford University.
