Technical Project Manager
Erin Maneri is a Technical Project Manager at RegLab, where she brings experience managing and executing data science projects at research labs in public, private and nonprofit settings. She began her career at Accenture’s Technology Lab analyzing the abundant data coming out of Smart Power Grids and Electronic Health Records, then served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow (PIF) under President Obama, working on Open Data at USDA. She then moved to the mission-driven startup space joining Crowdpac where she educated voters about their candidates leveraging Open Data and machine learning, then DataKind where she scoped and managed projects to bring together pro bono data scientists with mission driven organizations. At RegLab, Erin manages compliance projects executed by an interdisciplinary team of researchers.
Erin received an SM from MIT, where she was supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and did research at CSAIL mapping the human brain as a control system for movement. She also received a BS in Applied Mathematics from Montana State University and did two co-op terms with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), where she calibrated a Cassini instrument in-flight and conducted control system analysis and design for NASA’s radio telescopes.
