Emaan Hariri is a JD candidate at The University of Chicago Law School. He was previously a Software Engineer at Bodo, where he worked on compilers for parallel computing and served on the Consortium for Python Data API Standards. Emaan received his BA in Computer Science and MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, with concentrations in theory and AI, from UC Berkeley in 2020 and 2021, respectively. At Berkeley, he researched theoretical improvements to matrix completion under Satish Rao. He is interested in both the applications of emerging technologies to the law and the regulation of those technologies.
