Diya Karan is a rising junior at Stanford studying Political Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science. She is interested in the intersection of algorithmic governance and access to justice. She has worked on projects including courtroom discourse analysis using LLMs, legal AI evaluation, as well as computational tools for legal reasoning. Outside of research, she enjoys her job as a teaching assistant for Stanford’s introductory computer science courses and singing in a cappella.
