RegLab was pleased to host South Korean Supreme Court Justice Sook-Yeon Lee for an engaging dialogue on the responsible use of AI in judicial systems. Drawing on her background in engineering, Justice Lee shared the South Korean judiciary’s ambitious work to develop its own large language model to assist judges. The group exchanged ideas about the scope for AI in adjudication, improving judicial processes, and strategies for protecting sensitive data.
