Summer Graduate Student Fellow
Zihan Wei is a PhD candidate in Geophysics at Stanford University. He holds a B.Sc. in Geology from Peking University. His research interests include environmental fluid dynamics, volcanology, hydrology, and applying machine learning to solve real-world environmental problems. He is advised by Jenny Suckale. Zihan is also a member of the COVID-19 project in partnership with the Stanford Future Bay Initiative, where he works on optimizing contact tracing policies for COVID-19 in San Francisco using agent-based modeling.
